He wakes up pretty smiley (eventually!) There is at least one picture there where he’s giving you the “what the heck are you doing?” look!

It’s funny because 90% of the time, he wakes up crying or really grumpy. I got lucky when I decided to take these photos! When he wakes up this happy from a nap, you can tell it’s going to be an easy afternoon : )

my daughter is 2 and now more or less pulls the covers back over herself and rolls straight over, back to sleep!

Haha! He tried to do that actually, hence the pictures where he’s lying back down…but I have to be a cruel mama and make sure he doesn’t nap past 3.30 or we’re in for trouble at bedtime.

Thanks. I’ve been meaning to take photos of him waking up for ages, one of those every-day things that is quite special : )

This is such a good idea! Really lovely photos. the first thing Willow does when she wakes up is pass me everything around her (teddies, blanket etc) and makes me hug them. Then she throws herself about and waits for me to tickle her. Kids are mental. Arlo is an absolute star. And that last pose – AMAZING.

I’m not sure how I managed to create a child with modelling genes, but that last photo is definite proof!
