The bare minimum

I have so many posts drafted (in my head) for this blog. Posts about sleep (still not getting any), about how Arlo as a toddler is so much easier than Arlo as a baby, and about breastfeeding a toddler.

I have things to say. But I can’t say them right now, as my attention has been swept away from this blog as I put all effort into launching my family and lifestyle photography business.

Things have, rather unexpectedly, taken off from a very soft launch. It’s absolutely brilliant news, but it means I’m fully focused on getting my website finished, organising props for upcoming shoots, and sorting out a lot of pernickity little bits to do with running my own business.

Plus, there’s the matter of a certain train-obsessed toddler of mine, who seems to need parenting and attention from time to time in between all of this. What do I pay my TV licence for, Cbeebies?

(Yes, this is the second consecutive post where I have mentioned Cbeebies. We do go out… honest.)

I am keeping up with the bare minimum for this blog. The things that I have to record at all costs –  Arlo’s updates and the 366 project.

My rambling posts will resurface soon. But in the meantime, if you’re in the South London, Surrey, or Croydon area and are thinking of having a family photoshoot, take a look at my leaflet:

Well that sounds like a very exciting and worthwhile reason to be neglecting your blog a little. How exciting for you and what a great opportunity. I wish you lived nearer to me as you could come and snap my new monkey when it arrives. Good luck with it all. X

Oh yes, definitely life before blogging (or else I’d have nothing to blog about! Hehe).

Those newborn photos are so precious. I’m real excited to be a part of making those memories for families – one of the best parts of the job!

Oh I am so pleased for you that it is starting to take off. I know what you mean about time, I need to start setting up my website etc for my baby massage business but I just don’t know where to start! Your site looks great x

Thank you! I know what you mean – the hardest part is just getting started and getting the ball rolling.

Baby Massage is a great idea! And so popular. Arlo hated it, and yet we still went along for the whole six week course.
