Review: The Essential One Nursing Tops

About half way through my pregnancy with Rory, I was sent some lovely nursing tops from The Essential One’s brand new maternity range.

Long enough to comfortably cover a bump, and to wear as a tunic top post-birth, these tops have become an integral part of my wardrobe. I was sent the short sleeve wrap tie nursing top, and the 3/4 sleeve tie front nursing top. Both are great, although if I had to pick a favourite it would be the short sleeve top as it gives you the option to tie at the front, back , or side, rather than just at the front.

The nursing tops feature panels for easy breastfeeding access. Although I tend to wear my usual tops with a vest underneath, I do find it really useful to have a few proper nursing tops in my collection, as they are far easier to use when trying to breastfeed a baby in a sling.

It often seems the way that creating a maternity range is an excuse for a brand to add an extra tenner to the price tag, so it’s refreshing to see such affordable prices being offered by The Essential One. I also really like that their maternity range is full of very practical items that will work well not only during pregnancy, but postnatally too – the nursing tops provide a flattering shape for my postnatal tummy.

Do check out The Essential One maternity range, it’s full of simple, no-fuss, styles that are exactly my kind of thing. And they also have a beautiful selection of baby clothing too.

I was sent the nursing tops free of charge for the purpose of this review.
