Review: Bravado Essential Embrace nursing bra

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been trialing a brand new nursing bra from Bravado – The Essential Embrace.

nursing bra review

I have amassed quite collection of nursing bras over the past three years of breastfeeding – I have the very first ones I bought, a two pack of cotton bras from m&s (now a bit stretched and relegated to wearing around the house only). I have a couple of prettier HotMilk bras, and with the introduction of the Embrace, I know have the perfect ‘all-rounder’ bra.

The Embrace is plain and simple – the perfect t-shirt bra, no lines will show through your clothing.  It is super supportive, super comfortable, and I have the nude shade (Chai), so I can wear it under any colour top or dress. And the drop down clips are the normal, uncomplicated system.

You just know a good bra as soon as you try it. When I first put on the Embrace, it fit like a glove and it’s barely been off since.

Good support is the most important thing when it comes to bras, here’s what Bravado have to say about their new Bravado Dynatex technology:

The reason Bravado Dynatex is so special is that it completely eliminates the need for an underwire, the single-layer fabric is robust, supple, lightweight and holds everything in place without feeling at all restrictive. In addition to this the material has some other amazing properties, including a ‘four way stretch’ which allows Embrace bras to mould themselves perfectly to fit a woman’s individual growing and changing shape.

The Bravado Embrace bra is brand new and has only just launched today. Available at £34 from Bravado Designs, John Lewis, or JoJo Maman Bebe.

I was provided with a Bravado Embrace bra for the purpose of this review.

Good to read your review, I was wondering if it would be a good bra to stock or not !

I really like mine. It’s in and out of the wash more than anything else.

Does it prevent nipple show-through? Thanks!

Hi Jessica, the material is quite thick, I haven’t had any problems.
