Review: AnywayUp 360 toddler beaker

Beakers are one of those baby/toddler products that scare me. I spend ages trying to choose between all the different types on the shelf, eventually pick one and spend a small fortune buying it, then take it home and wait for the inevitable realisation that it is not the perfect beaker – it leaks, the flow is not fast enough / too fast, Arlo takes a dislike to the spout, it has too many parts that always get lost.

However, having tried out the AnywayUp 360 toddler beaker over the last few weeks, I know I could happily buy another one of these cups without getting the dreaded beaker fear.

I’m not sure if the perfect beaker exists – my gripe with this one is that I’m lazy, and you do have to separate the pieces that make up the valve / rim in order to give it a thorough clean, especially if you are using it for milk – but I’d say this beaker comes pretty close, and Arlo agrees.

He loved it as soon as he saw it, and he thought it was really cool that he could drink from anywhere around the rim – just like a grown-up cup but with none of the spillages. The 360 is now our go-to beaker, we use it every day. This beaker finally got him off the bottles for his bedtime milk – although I can’t say how much of that can be credited to this specific beaker, or the fact that Sam and I made such a huge deal out of his ‘big boy cup’ from the moment it arrived as part of my evil plan to ditch the bottles.

We were sent an AnywayUp 360 toddler beaker to try out. I was not obliged to provide a blog review, but I decided to write one anyway.
