Jaques of London make classic wooden toys that every family household will recognise. Toys such as the jack-in-a-box style Bouncing Bunnies have been staples in our house since my eldest was a toddler.
We recently reviewed two wooden toy products from Jaques of London: the wooden easel for kids, and the wooden toy car transporter.

This children’s easel comes with: Two erasers – one for the whiteboard and one for the chalkboard side, a pack of chalks, a whiteboard marker, and 3 non-spill paint pots.
The Jaques of London wooden easel for kids is a multi-use product that I can see getting a lot of longevity in our household. My five year old has been using the whiteboard mainly for writing and maths practice, and the chalkboard and paints for when he wants to get a bit more creative.
The easel height was the perfect size for my 5.5 year old, and is also well-used by my 1.5 year old and wasn’t too small for my 8 year old – meaning you could easily get 5+ years of use out of the Jaques of London wooden easel for kids.
The paint pots that come with the easel are a great way to contain potential mess and spillages.
My one downside to the Jaques easel is that it doesn’t fold away without having to unscrew some bolts and remove the tray table.

I knew the Jaques of London wooden toy car transporter would be an instant hit with my 1.5 year old car-fanatic.

The wooden car transporter comes with four cars in primary colours, and the transporter itself. My 1.5 year old can happily spend a lot of time loading the vehicles onto the carrier and taking them off again.
