The school summer holidays are afoot, and we’ve been having a lovely time doing not very much at all.
I love that the older boys are at a great age to entertain themselves at home, although the occasional day out is always a welcome change of scenery!
Last week, we headed into town for the Graco Baby Bootcamp. Graco had teamed up with Babycentre, and the aim around the event was to provide a crash course in tips for new parents and newborn care.
Having been through the newborn stage three times, I listened and nodded along to guest speaker Sarah Redshaw at many points throughout her talk. Pregnant with twins and with a toddler under her belt already. Sarah certainly has her fair share of experience in pregnancy and babies!
Practical newborn tips are great to hear, but generally everyone finds their feet in their own time. What I think it’s really important to hear, is that message of confidence, for someone to say “Don’t worry too much, you will find your way”. Which was very much the vibe of the Graco Baby Bootcamp.
There were also fun activities for the older boys to get involved with too – a photobooth, and an obstacle course. Arlo and Rory busied themselves trying to claim top spot on the leaderboard.
Having recently started using our Graco Evo Avant. The graco baby bootcamp provided my first opportunity to test it out on public transport and the busy streets of London. The Evo Avant handled amazingly, and I would be confident using it as a city pushchair.
Here are some pictures from our day with Graco:
